And nothing fits the bill better than international travel! Building on the success of the 2025 GFWC Tour to Ireland, I’m excited to invite you to explore “Iconic England and the Great British Garden” July 17-26, 2026.
12 Sold Out Shows
Hope you had a chance to catch the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Event, we had twelve (12) Sold out shows the weekend of October 23-25th! They came with an extremely professional staff for a unique Poe Historians with four new tales from Poe’s dark imagination to life, each paired with a fresh selection of classic cocktails. We are delighted that they would choose our venue for such a phenomenal show.
Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy: Chapter Two
The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy returns to Ridgewood for a haunting sequel that delves even deeper into the macabre. This time, the Poe Historians bring four new tales from Poe’s dark imagination to life, each paired with a fresh selection of classic cocktails. Prepare for an immersive experience that will transport you into the chilling tales of The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, The Pit and the Pendulum, and The Fall of the House of Usher, each brought to life with eerie detail.
Giving Back To Bergen County
Thank you Lucy Rosen for all you do. We look forward to working together for such a great cause. CASA advocates are specially trained to represent children in need of legal oversight, and are sometimes the most important steadfast advocates in their lives.
CASA Casino Night – Wednesday, May 7, 2025
Please join us for Casino Night on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Seasons in Washington Township, NJ where you can, “bet on hope and brighter futures!” Come and enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and open bar along with exciting casino games accompanied by loads of basket prizes. And there will be more to win in the silent auction as well as the 50/50 raffle, and last but not least a super door prize!
An Evening Of Edgar Allan Poe
Thank you to everyone who came out this weekend! This was a unique take on Edgar Allen Poe's most famous short stories, coupled with special drinks for each of the 4 stories they told. It was a pleasure to host. The event takes place in a dark speakeasy wherein Poe historians and actors tell a reimagining of Poe’s most famous works: "The Raven," "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Masque of Red Death" and "The Black Cat."
Helping Hands For Those In Need
Helping Hands For Those In Need - Because everyone deserves a life that is safe, empowered, and free from violence and because we all need a little love on Valentine’s Day; Monica, Mary Alice Coti, and Pamela Swords deliver pizzas, bagged treats and goodies, pies and cakes and personal items to the Center for Hope & Safety to be shared and used by the 20 women and 10 children who are putting their lives back together in a safe environment of love and compassion.

Maryanne Aman
In Memoriam; former President Maryanne Aman entered into eternal life on Friday, November 3, 2023 surrounded by her family at The Hermitage in Richmond, VA. Maryanne was our gracious President from 2005-2007. On a personal level she was extremely kind and patient.
Kristen Plumley and Friends
Celebrate the Holiday Season with us at our annual holiday concert featuring Kristen Plumley and Friends with ADELMO GUIDARELLI, baritone, PATRICIA LAZZARA, flute, and MICHAEL CALDWELL, piano. Mark you calendar on December 7th and choose from two shows, the first a catered lunch at noon followed by the concert 12:45 p.m. The Evening Show kicks off with cocktails and lite bites at 5:30 p.m. followed by the concert 6 p.m.
Where Do The Children Play
In a #1 hit song back in the 70s, Cat Stevens once asked “where do the children play?” In Ridgewood they play at the Woman’s Club of Ridgewood, the perfect venue for a child’s birthday or surprise party.
Bolger Room Dedication
We are extremely grateful to The Bolger Foundation for their generous support of our club in the past and their recent gift that has allowed us to preserve The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood to being the historic charitable community center as it was intended to be and have living room space is dedicated in their honor.
Fashion Show Exhibition Silent Auction
Fashion Show Exhibition Silent Auction - JOIN US NOVEMBER 16th at 7 p.m. at the Woman’s Club – 215 W. Ridgewood Ave. – Ridgewood, NJ. A festive evening of fashion, shopping, and a silent auction to support two great causes: CASA and our Scholarship Trust.
Baby Supplies Collection
We ‘re collecting: DIAPERS (especially bigger sizes: 3, 4, 56 and Pullups) WIPES - FORMULA (powdered is best). Drop off your donation at The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood, 215 W. Ridgewood Ave, in the white bin in the parking lot behind the clubhouse. Drop off through Thanksgiving.
Garden Weddings
Our clubhouse setting is home to a beautiful serene garden adjacent to our clubhouse where you can say “I do” with over 100 guests surrounded by seasonal florals.
Bergen CASA
Bergen CASA is super excited because we had our first in-person swearing-in ceremony by Judge Mecca yesterday. We swore in 13 volunteers from our Spring online class to advocate for foster children in Bergen County
Derby Day Party 2023
