Woman’s Club of Ridgewood

Keep us, O God from pettiness; let us be large in thought, in word, in deed. Let us be done with faultfinding, and leave off self-seeking.  May we put away all pretense and meet each other face to face without self-pity, and without prejudice.  May we never be hasty in judgment and always generous. Let us take time for all things, make us grow calm, serene, gentle.  Teach us to put into action our better impulses, straightforward and unafraid.  Grant that we may realize it is the little things that create differences; that in the big things of life we are at one.  And may we strive to touch and to know the great common human of us all, and O Lord God let us forget not to be kind.

The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community and supporting a wide variety of local area charities and organizations that provide support to woman, children, and the elderly.  The Woman’s Club also gives members the opportunity to meet new people and socialize while working together to achieve common goals.  Our membership represents a dynamic and diverse group of women.

Since 1910, the Woman’s Club has been affiliated with the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs, the largest women’s volunteer organization in New Jersey.  It is also affiliated with the General Foundation of Women’s Clubs, which was chartered by Congress in 1910.

The Monthly Club Days typically fall on the second Wednesday of every month with club business from 11:30-12, lunch and an organized program. The information is available in the monthly mailed bulletin as well as via Evites to those who have email.  Programs are open to the public for a nominal fee.
