Advocates for children who need a voice

Bergen CASA is super excited because we had our first in-person swearing-in ceremony by Judge Mecca yesterday. We swore in 13 volunteers from our Spring online class to advocate for foster children in Bergen County!! We could not be more excited for them to get their first cases! Having completed 36 hours of pre-service training, these volunteers are ready to be assigned to children in need of a CASA. Welcome to the CASA family!

CASA volunteers are committed to changing children’s stories so that any child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, and have a permanent home, and the opportunity to thrive.
